The Quay Hotel and Spa

The Quay Hotel and Spa

The contemporary Quay Riverside Hotel and Spa is located on the breath-taking Deganwy Marina, with views over the Conwy Estuary.

The fully non-smoking riverside hotel has been meticulously designed throughout, and its architecture epitomises cool sophistication.

The large, airy spaces, understated chic and sharp styling combine to create a truly inspirational hotel experience.

Wall-to-wall windows with sea views flood the interiors with natural light in this Riverside Hotel.

And the use of specially quarried Welsh slate makes a thoroughly individual design statement.

The rooms incorporate plush beds dressed in crisp Egyptian cotton, luxurious bathrooms and unrivalled in-room facilities.

Local Hotels

There is enough variety of hotels on the promenade to suit almost all tastes and budgets.

Many of the larger hotels are owned and operated by national chains and boast large ballrooms, swimming pools, and restaurants.

Two examples of such hotels are The St George’s Hotel and The Imperial Hotel which are both located within easy reach of Llandudno’s town centre.

Away from the larger hotels are many of the smaller privately owned hotels.

These smaller hotels tend to be situated either towards the north end of the promenade and close to the pier or towards the Little Orme away from the main areas of the town.

These smaller hotels often have a reputation for quality service that attracts a high number of repeat visitors.

The St Tudno Hotel is one example of a smaller hotel being located opposite the pier entrance and has a long history of great service and an award winning restaurant.

The north end of the promenade is home to Llandudno’s Pier.

Here you can find the large and imposing Grand Hotel which stands just off the pier itself.

Behind the Grand Hotel is the North Parade where you can find slightly less expensive hotels that still have a view of the Llandudno Bay.

The Empire Hotel is one hotel worth mentioning that is not located on the promenade.

The hotel is located at the top of Mostyn Street looking down Llandudno’s main shopping area and close to the Great Orme.

The Empire Hotel has earned a reputation as one of Llandudno’s best hotels with modern bedrooms and facilities.

More Hotels

Another hotel worth mentioning is The Risboro Hotel.

Which is located about 10 minutes walk from Llandudno’s promenade in a peaceful part of the town.

Whilst not as large as some of the hotels on the promenade the hotel offers an excellent standard of accommodation.

Llandudno’s West Shore is a location often overlooked but provides an ideal location if you want to be close to the beach but away from the town centre.

The West Shore is located approximately 20 minutes walk away from the main shopping areas and is home to a number of smaller hotels.

Here you can enjoy inspiring views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Isle of Anglesey and play on the sands of the quieter beach.

The final two hotels worth mentioning are located slightly further away from Llandudno and each offers something unique.

The Bodysgallen Hall and Spa Hotel is a country house hotel located in its own grounds just off the A470 connecting road to Llandudno.

The hotel is set in a wonderful location with views towards the Snowdonia Mountains and beyond.

The Bodysgallen Hall and Spa Hotel is rated as one of the finest in the whole of Wales. The Deganwy Quay Hotel is Llandudno’s newest and one of the highest rated.

The hotel has been built on the new Deganwy Quay marina and is rated as a 4 star hotel.

The Deganwy Quay Hotel enjoys wonderful views of the Conwy estuary and Conwy Castle and is located approximately 5 minutes from Llandudno town centre by car.
