The Rise is a contemporary restaurant that pays homage to the railway heritage of The Grand. Guests can enjoy live musicians and an outdoor terrace overlooking the city walls. Traditional afternoon teas are served daily, and the 1906 Bar serves cocktails, local ales, premium spirits and hand selected wines.
grand hotel york has a 20 yards swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Complimentary Spa access is give to guests staying in the Executive rooms and Suites. An array of health, beauty and wellness therapies and remedies can also be booked within the Spa’s Vaulted Treatment rooms. There is also a modern fitness centre, the complimentary use of which is open to guests staying in all rooms.
An NCP car park is next to the hotel on Tanner Row, where you can receive a 20% discount with the Concierge Team. Guests’ cars can also be Valet Parked from the front door for GBP 35 per night.
