Excellent breakfast at the royal highland hotel, free dinner and cocktail offered but we didn’t manage to make use of these. The staff were all so helpful and pleasant and free parking right in the middle of town was such a great bonus.
DislikedWe had a great room, on the ground floor but it was so hot and we had to keep a fan blowing the whole time. There is a window in the room but we couln’t open this. Other than this I can’t fault anything.

Room was okay apart from seagulls outside making noise on roof next to room. breakfast was fantastic and location was easy to get to but for car park space it’s terrible had to park at old town rose street car parking which cost money but not expensive for 24 hrs and it involved 7 min walking.
DislikedCar Park Spaces were only 8 spaces, and was full. No room service for cleaning room we had to ask and get towels at the reception desk but there was covid rules for room service staff. wasn’t notified when we arrived. Plus my partner lost her earrings she thinks she left them in hotel room ? we phoned, but staff said they were not there. Watch valuables as well
